So sorry you have this mess. You will learn to appreciate your port. I hated mine at first.wanted to rip it out with my bare fingers. But I soon adjusted to it and so will you. It will save your veins from being fried by chemo. Chemo is doable . Don't be afraid of it. They have wonderful meds to help with side effects. Fatique will most likely be your worse. Good luck. You have come to a wonderful site, everyone here is helpful and very understanding. E ven if you just want to vent. This is a good place. We all feel like screaming at one time or another. We all understand where you are coming from! Welcome but sorry for the reason you are here. Best of wishes and prayers coming your way!

It seems when life starts throwing curve balls at you, it doesn't know when to stop. Like you , I had normal mammys (so they said) then the next thing I knew I had mets in bone and liver.
Being a single mother is hard enough when you are well. It must be really really rough when you have this disease. I hope you enjoy your trip with your son. Hugs
