Way to go! You're moving right along, where will you go to school? Lincoln, Omaha? I have relatives there, and lived there for a while.

Cool, you know you will have to go to a football game while you're there, even if you don't like football! I went to one there when I was in high school in 1977, the stadium at that time was about like a large high school stadium. My how things have changed! Enjoy the adventure! I hope you continue to do well! thanks for stopping in and checking in with us.

Night sweats are pretty normal for me since I had a hysterectomy. I have felt some of the other things you mentioned as well. Try not to freak out too much definetly let your doc know about what you're experiencing. Having been diagnosed with cancer we have to be on the lookout and a higher level of concern and monitoring of our health. Keep an eye on the symptoms, frequency, severity and speak to your doctor. Wishing you all the best.

I talked to my local doctor and she said more than likely it was a bug that's been going around coupled with stress from college midterms and it should go a way in a few days if not I'm supposed to come back

Moder, Good to hear your Dr say not to worry. The symptoms sound to me like you have a big test coming up, I can remember some of the same symptoms when I was in collage many, many years ago. Good Luck and ace the test, it is the best way to feel better.

I have thought about doing the same thing! Not to put any negative thoughts in your mind, but if it comes back, I would want them going in the same places and that would mess up the tattoo. At some point in life, we will view these scars and remember how far we've come! Xoxo

I have no experience but it seems to me like it'd be more painful to tattoo over a scar....but that's just my speculation. And that's assuming the ink will even take correctly.

Anyway, I personally view my surgery and port scars as battle wounds. They show everyone what I've been through and I'm very proud of them. I personally will not be covering mine up. They are a part of me now as is cancer.

Hi there everyone! Sorry I haven't updated in a while. can u say mega busy? Anyway my first year of college is over my plans to transfer to a 4 year in 2014 are set and I'm looking at doing a program called semester at sea.

Next week my 1 year anniversary of my diagnosis is coming up on the 23 I plan on doing a minor celebration of still being here and going strong ;).

I'm finally feeling back to normal enough to resume my training don't know if I said but pre cancer I was a competitive distance swimmer.

My hair is back enough that I can go places without a hat and not feel weird. And much to my relief it's comming back as dark and curly as before.

That's all I got right now ill try to update mor offen see ya later :)
