I'm so sorry to read that the reccomended(no doubt) lumpectomy went bad. My surgeon and oncologist tried to talk me into a lumpectomy and I flat refused aafter seeing the many similar results from DCIS that later become agressive cancer. All I can say to you is to tell everyone your mis diagnosis and I say " if u don't remember any thing I said remember these two words "WHAT NEXT" a cancer site for people like us to learn before we let Drs Practice. Knowlwdge is poser. I certainly hope all is going beter for you now and I WILL SAY A PRAYER FOR MSJERSEY for his love and healing. Karen

Procedure or Surgery (Mastectomy): I have an expander in my left breast and I feel it and it does affect me. It's tight and uncomfortable--but I'm still able to do what I need to do. It's not painful : ) I do not need radiation or chemo, so I'm very very happy about that.

Oh No (Misdiagnosed): from lumpectomy to having to receive mastectomy due to mri showing cancer in two different sites on same breast.
