I don't have bladder cancer. I am a breast cancer survivor (warrior). If only cancer had just cost money. My husband was diagnosed with lung cancer nine months after my diagnosis. He passed another nine months later. If cancer had only cost me money...

Thanks again for helping others on the site by sharing your own personal experiences and answering their questions. Newly diagnosed members find it comforting to know that others have been where they are at and have made it through and been able to move on with life. We appreciate you!

Decision Point (To move on.): It took several years after the death of my hubby from cancer to decide that God left me here for a reason. I am now involved in several groups to do with veterans as my hubby was a Marine during World War II. I also try to convince women to get their mammograms since that is how my breast cancer was found. If they need someone to make the appointment or take them, I will do that too.

What a wonderful thing you are doing. I am sure that it helps you every bit as much as it helps the ones that are on their cancer journey now.
