How long until hair started growing back? I was confident enough to go out in the first few weeks without hair, but living in a cold climate, I'm lost (and cold) without a hat!
After losing it to chemo, my hair is returning in salt and pepper and is just slightly shorter than Charlize's. She has given me the courage to leave my caps and wigs behind when venturing out in public.
Seven weeks since my last chemo treatment. I've had to pluck two chin hairs and will probably need to shave my legs and armpits this week. As my friend told me, it is these little things that make us feel normal again.
I know what you mean by getting back to "normal". Even though I don't think we get back to where we were before. At least we start to get back to some of the things we did back before.
glad to hear it for you though! Please keep posting how things are going for you.
Thanks for being there for everyone here!

Exactly! :) Although, I don't quite mind not having body hair. Just miss the hair on my head. :) Wishing you all the best as you get back to this new normal. Sending hugs your way.
Celebration (Finished treatment): Just in time for my 60th birthday.
