    Welcome Nancydancer,
How are you? Sorry I am late welcoming you. I recently started chemo again for my second reoccurence so I have been a bit distracted. I was diagnosed stage 3 C in July 2015. I now have 2 pulmonary nodules and an area on my left diaphragm that lit up in PET scan. Feel free to ask any questions. We are here for you.

Hello and welcome, NancyDancer. I'm so very sorry to hear of your diagnosis but you've found a great place to ask questions, get information, and share experiences. We're close in age and were both diagnosed some time ago. I was stage IV at my diagnosis and I'm still here more than five years later so please know there's still plenty of hope.

A few months ago, I recorded a series of videos for WhatNext about my cancer journey. You may find them helpful. I've included a link at the end of this message should you wish to check them out.

WhatNext.com is a great place for everyone, from the newly diagnosed to those of us who've been living with cancer for some time - friends and loved ones too! While you're here at WhatNext.com, check out the questions and experiences of other folks here. You can find people who've had the same cancer, surgeries, chemotherapy and experiences should you wish. It's often reassuring to know others have been through what you're facing and thrived. I also recommend the PINBOARD - there are often humorous or uplifting posts that can make your day. Definitely worth checking out.

In the meantime, I'm here if you have any questions or want to chat.

Hi Nancydancer, welcome to the WhatNext site. I found WhatNext in 2013 when I was diagnosed with later stage ovarian cancer. At that time I needed to connect with survivors and find out about the journey ahead. I have benefitted from both the site’s helpful information and all the added support. Your patient information says you were diagnosed two years ago and are in active treatment, are you having a recurrence? Unfortunately, recurrence happens all too often with ovarian cancer but today there are many more options for treating a recurrence that can beat this disease back into submission or at least keep it stable allowing survivors to continue to live their lives. Look the site over, ask questions and connect to other survivors on their walls. One video you may want to take a look at is by kalindria. She is a six year survivor of stage IV ovarian cancer and talks about her experience with recurrence . WhatNext is a site comprised of survivors and caregivers all here to help each other because we are all stronger together. I wish you better days ahead .
