If you get bad headaches talk to your oncologist about an mri to make sure there is no cancer in brain. Everyone has different side effects and at the same time luckily some have the same. I say luckily because once you hear soemone else say they felt this way or that way you know you aren't losing it lol. Right now I am dealing with bad upper arm shoulder pain in both arms but wondering if it is not from my neck. But make sure to mention the headaches. Congrats on being cancer free. I have my year scantomorrow. Will see if still free.

It takes a long time to recuperate from Chemo and Radiation. Make sure you tell your Dr's everthing you are feeling. Then just do the best you can to stay active and things should start to improve for you but it takes a good year to recover

Hi, I too was diagnosed with the same type of cancer. I did quit smoking completely, and my breathing and lungs are much better. The problem I'm having now is Neuropathy pain, just started this month, I have been in treatment since May. Was told I have two more rounds of chemo to go through, my next appointment is Wednesday. I'm convinced this sudden onset of neurapathy pain is a side effect of the chemo. Was prescribed neurontin Saturday, of course I feel no relief yet, was told it could take a week or so to work! Well, when I see my doctor on Wednesday, I am asking him for something stronger, at least until this medicine kicks in! I hope you and I are both feeling better soon. Good luck!

I hope you do well with it. I had one type of chemo that kicked my butt. The next was a piece of cake compared to the first. So I know there are different types and we all take them differently. I seen people that would come walking into the treatment room just singing and cheery, and there I was barely able to walk. I wanted what they were having!
