      Your plastic surgeon would be the one to discuss this with. There is more than one type of reconstruction.....saline or silicone implant and DIEP flap. I am surprised this wasn’t discussed with you prior to your mastectomy. Talk with your plastic surgeon about these options. Good luck with your reconstruction.

    I am so sorry you are dealing with this! I also was diagnosed with triple negative. I had a full year of treatment, which ended last summer. There is a lot of great info on this site, and support from other members.
