Oh No (Cancer has spread/Metastasized): Up to this point, all treatments were done with the hope of curing me....however, now, all my doctors agree that the focus of treatment from this point is to prolong my life as long as possible

Drug or Chemo Therapy (Chemotherapy): Started chemotherapy through the HAIP on October 2012....no major side effect...frequently blood work to monitor the liver reaction to the chemo...after recovering from the surgery which took six weeks, I am back to work full time with no limitations....this chemo should end in March 2013.....then see what happens

Procedure or Surgery (Surgery): September 2012....had surgery to remove the spleen which had cancer and was swollen to the size of a football due to all the chemotherapy...also removed the gallbladder to make room for the implant of the hepatic arterial infusion pump so that they can give me direct chemo to the liver....the tumors on the liver were dead from the previous chemo round (some good news)

Drug or Chemo Therapy (Chemotherapy): As before, four months after treatment was stopped, the cancer returned but this time worse.....there were new tumors on the liver but it also spread to my spleen...so started an very aggressive three month chemotherapy on March 2012....it was the worse cocktail of chemo I had....nausea constantly, needed to be hydrated throughout the treatment, loss 30 lbs, skin rash....it suck! I was glad it was only 3 months....and yes, worked full time through it and kept going to the gym!

Procedure or Surgery (Surgery): December 2011....the cancer returned four months after completing the chemotherapy....scan found one new tumor on the liver...after some delay, had an ablation of the liver to burn the tumor....I was back to work within one week...procedure was simple and easy
