Thanks for sharing, I've just begun to dig into this site and particularly search for guys around my age when diagnosed and I was also 41. Yes, you did what YOU had to do to raise your son, and I did the same surgery, I couldn't let my mother bury a son just six months after burying her husband of 48 years. How are you doing now?

Decision Point (single dad raising 4 yr old, had to make sure I was gonna b there to raise him): no regrets, at that time, sounded like best solution, u deal with side effects, am alive and will get son raised

Oh No (Diagnosed): at son's ballgame coaching his 4 r 5 yr old team Dr. calls says Mr. Hill, I say yes, This is Dr. ----- Test is positive u have cancer, XXX , 41 is to young for this . Assistant coach stayed for game I left, XXX. Single dad raising 4 yr old. 24/7 mom not reliable, Had to get son raised so get this XXX out. Within 6 wks diagnose Had total prostate removed, procedures have changed quite a bit, do u'r reserch
