Side Effects (Fatigue (tiredness)): All during my chemo I suffered from chronic fatigue as well as a deep bone ache. I also experience severe constipation to which I had to seek out a colonic specialist for relief. Some of the medicines made me very nauseous and caused my eyesight to blur so that I could not read or concentrate.

Drug or Chemo Therapy (Chemotherapy): I endured a strong mixture of chemo drugs which were very harsh and made me very ill. I was unable to work during my treatments. I was lucky to have a strong support group who were with me during fusion days. My friends helped take my mind off the drugs and helped me focus on wellness and surviving.
I also had a blog which I found very healing. I could post about my day and how I was feeling (both physical and mental). It helped to write it down and share with others.

Oh No (Diagnosed): Finding out I had CANCER was pure accidental. I was caught totally off-guard and was not expecting it at all. It had a huge impact to hear the words - YOU HAVE CANCER. I was so scared and felt so alone. The first several weeks were pure agony since I could not imagine what my treatment would be like.
