I had a PSA score of 6.5, I had prostate removal. After surgery, my PSA was 1.25. A month later it was 1.43. I had 32 rounds of radiation and for the last two years my PSA has been around .84. I have a friend and he had prostate removal 17 years ago and his PSA level has been around .6 for this entire time. My urologist says as long as it does not rise dramatically, quickly, there is not a real danger. Keep it in check and hang tough.

I have not had any experience with alternatives or anything that you are asking, but I would definitely discuss it with your health care provider and see what they say. They can give you some ideas as well. Good luck finding answers to what you are searching for

When I told the ER, Urgent Care, ENT, and family doctor that I was taking herbs, they were happy. An urgent Care and an Italian doctor also added a few of their fav herbs that might help. They said that because I brought the subject up, they could discuss herbs with me.

I completely lost my voice from an Endoscopy-lots of throat pain too. The availiable meds didn't work.. Our dear Geekling sent me a list of herbs to use. At this point, I don't see how they could hurt me anymore than the doctor did.

The thing about the word choice of "Integretive", it reduces the hostility of the doctor, and lets him/her know that you are listening to him--
