You'll always find those co-workers who think the limelight should always be on them and NOT anyone else in the office. So sorry you went through this. Best remedy...ignore them. Sometimes ignorance cannot be fixed!

I had lots of people say how good i looked for someone with stage 4 cancer, but no one ever doubted to my face if I was truly sick.

My experience is that LOTS of us cancer survivors look perfectly healthy. I am glad you do!!!

When i was pregnant with my son, i didn't show for a long time. My coworker showed right away. I was accused of lying about being pregnant. I still shake my head about that.

This is a side-effect of my oral chemo also. I can't say I lost mine but it used to be thick. It has thinned a lot. At the crown at the back of my head, I can see a very small actual loss. However, one night shortly after I started the chemo my hair changed from a medium brown with a few strands of gray here and there to stark white. No gradual transition. Brown one day. White the next. Really white!! I took a look in the mirror and nearly went into AFIB! Strangers always stop and tell me that they love the color of my hair.

Thanks for your information. I had no idea that the cancer itself could be making me itch. I'll ask my oncologist about measures to stop it.
