Thank you for the sweet words Nancy. I'm hanging in there. These recent chemo cycles have been a little rough but thankfully I've still been able to take advantage of the good days. I've gotten so behind on updating my journey. I will soon . I appreciate all the well wishes and prayers. I know without God I wouldn't be able to go through this. Thank you so much. I also pray for all of us that are here on Whatnext. Hugs.

Don't know if you got my last email or not. Dave is still with me and just started a new chemo regimen. This is the fifth or sixth one. I have lost count. It has now been over 3 years, and for someone who was give 3 months, something must be working. He has lost weight, and is weak, but still here.

How are you doing? Funny, I was just thinking of you the other day when I got the last email from What Next. Let me know what has been going on with you and how your treatment is going.

      Fondly,
      Roz

    Nursnana shared an experience

Celebration (Finished treatment): My CT scan was negative for cancer, no more treatment necessary! My oncologist said I will have another CT scan in 3 months. If that one is negative, it will be a matter of wait and see what happens. Gallbladder cancer can have a recurrence. The oncologist did say if it comes back, it will not be curable. It will be treated as a chronic disease. I appreciate his honesty. I am grateful for each day! The only chemo related symptom that hangs on is fatigue. Some days I am just too exhausted to get anything done. Other days I am able to do more. I am trying to be patient with this lack of energy. I feel like my body is slowly healing from all that has happened to me during my cancer treatment. The things I have enjoyed doing are simple things. I can enjoy visits with our wonderful children and seven grandchildren! I can go to church now! My church family has prayed for me for months and months. They welcomed me back with open arms! I can go out again with my friends. I can go on long country drives with my husband, or to our beloved Blue Ridge Mountains. I can once again go shopping!! Since it was cold and flu season, I had to stay away from crowds. I felt like I was hibernating in our home! It is so nice to get out again! I will continue to enjoy each day, life is a precious gift from God! I am so thankful God was with me throughout my journey. ❤ Many thanks to the What's Next community of friends. I was so blessed to find this wonderful group of supportive friends.
