I fired the entire hospital system in my area, and went with the other one. There were two in my region.
What a difference, kind nurses, competent doctors, a caring staff, and a clean hospital even with better food!
As LWC said above, YOU are in charge of your life, you are best judge of who takes care of you.
If you do not like or trust them---- find a new and better one.

I have learned that I need to be my own advocate and have paid out of pocket and out of health care network for consultations. That has added years to my life. I also am quite insistent and verbal when I want something.

Doctors are human and have their limits in their knowledge base, creativity capacity and curiosity about research--- just as we all do. The incredible surgeon that did my CRS with Hipec surgery did a study with other doctors to investigate the knowledge base of gastroenterologists, surgeons and oncologists in the Washington DC area. The study was small BUT the results showed that the respondents did not have enough knowledge about the procedure to recommend it to patients. Kind of shocking!

When you feel someone is not the right fit for you for whatever the reason--- move on. We only get one life on earth and we must surround ourselves with people who can do the most good.

Decision Point (Changed treatment center ): Had to change because of the fact that it wasn’t the right place for me the doctors weren’t good at all and they didn’t communicate well at all went to a different one and it was like night and day it’s such a pleasure to be in good hands
