My best advice is to really try to enjoy all the time together you have that he feels good. My husband got so caught up in the chemo and the treatments and everything, he never really felt up for doing stuff with the family. It made things much harder for me, as a caregiver, because it felt like he had such a poor quality of life. So take that trip you've been thinking of, even if it's just a night or two. Get together with friends and celebrate it being a beautiful evening. Hopefully he will continue to improve, but in the meantime you'll be making good memories to cherish.

My husband was found to have a tumor in his colon that was diagnosed as large cell neuroendocrine. It spread very quickly to his liver. He did 12 chemo treatments and had a PET scan that showed great improvement. He had 6 more treatments and will be having another PET scan in about 2 weeks. I am thrilled that it seems he is responding well to treatments but still very anxious about the future. anybody have any advice?
