Celebration (Remission): Sorry it has been so long since I have updated anything. As of Sept 4, 2014 mom is in REMISSION FOR THE 2nd time! I am so excited to share this! It has been a long 14 months and 2 days to get to that result! Mom is doing great and feeling back to normal! Thank you all for your love and support. It has meant the world to me and my family. The outpouring of support has been more than I can begin to express.
It has been a long road but I am so thankful that we were able to make it through to the other side. Still praying that things stay good. So far so good.
Thank you all again. I am eternally grateful for your support.

Sorry its been so long since I've been on here. So far things are going ok. Mom didn't have to have a port put in for IV chemo she's still on her same chemo plan. The doctor is now talking radiation. We're still truckin through one day at a time. I can't believe in less than 1.5 months it'll be a year since our journey started. Time sure does fly. Mom is doing great with each passing day. I still appreciate all the support and prayers you all have had for my family and I. It really makes a world of difference.
    God Bless.

St Baldrick's of San Antonio's Volunteer Event Organizer Paul Harris and I the day after I shaved my head! I was still on an emotional high without words to describe how I felt. I am still there on that high 2 days later.

Lirasgirl.... No we are not twins. Its funny you ask because since I shaved my head so many people have asked about it!
Thank you guys! The support from the public has been amazing and overwhelming. I enjoyed shaving my head on Saturday and I am LOVING my bald head!!! This is something I plan on doing every year!

So.... Mom had another Blue Slide done last week and got her results..... ); Not good. The doctor is giving her 4 more weeks (including this week) of oral chemo and then she will be getting a port to start IV Chemo.... I am TERRIFIED! I have seen first hand what it does and how bad it can get. My little sister hasn't and she has been living with us for almost 3 months now. I know I need to be strong for the both of them. My Step dad is amazing and I know he'll be there for us. I am just worried and don't know what to do. I have been such a prayer warrior lately and need you guys! I need people who understand what I will be going through and everything that is about to come with it. I know that there are people here that may be going through the same thing or worse. I pray for you! I am feeling a little lost at the moment. HELP!
I know things are going to get worse before they get better but how much worse do they have to get??!!! I don't know where to start except with GOD.

Don't know what treatment is for this but I do know you all can fight like you did first time. I have small cell lung- was gone but came back year and half later. so I'll do my best to kick it back to sleep for awhile. Stay strong and paryers your way
