    Drug Therapy or Medication (chemo a drug not actually made for carcinoid cancer patient but in theory could help it called xeioda 500mg.): The side effect have been terrible migraine headache. diarrhea and stomach pain also had cat-scan waiting for doctor interpretation.

      Have u tried neurontin? For nerve pain? It's not a narcotic, but it helped me with my neuropathy pain which was keeping me up at night. How about marijuana rx? I do t know that it works, but they seem to be rxing it more these days.

      Have you considered acupuncture or some of the other complimentary therapies? Many have had great success with them.

      Have you been referred to the Pain Clinic for alternative therapies yet? If not, ask to go.

    Welcome sorry to hear about your situation I was diagnosis in 2011 had to have Bowel Resection surgery. Had to have my surgery 3-months later now 2 years later dealing with abdominal pain and peripheral edema I am still stage 4 the tumor are active and nothing can be done. If there any advice I could give you take it one hour at a time
