Thunder God Vine is being studied for pancreatic cancer but no where near ready for testing in humans, let alone available for use. The known side effects in its present state should rule it out. Anyone saying they can supply it is indeed selling snake oil.

Rick Simpson's cure is basically a pot based treatment that has not proved successful (which is not to say it doesn't have potential) but it is far from ready for human testing let alone use (and that's the form that medical researchers are testing--not the home lab version). Cannabis is being studied both in Europe and here in the US as a potential treatment. The treatment will not involve smoking (its far more concentrated). By the time you smoked enough pot to gain any benefit, you would be dead from the smoking itself. As I said, It holds great promise, but only once all the negatives have been ruled out and its been properly tested.

Both these are several years away IF proved viable........which sucks. Current treatments offer the best chance of still being here by the time these do become a possibility........which sucks, but sucks a hellofalot less than depending on untried, unstable treatments which have very slim chances (if any) of doing any good and might do a great deal of harm i.e. allow your cancer to really take hold and be far harder/impossible to treat.

If the cannabis oil that Simpson pushes was really the holy grail (or any of the other myriad "cures" offered on line), the big pharm companies would have found a way to copy it/them and make it available. They are more than involved in the studies and just as anxious as we are to find a cure. A cancer cure is the holy grail of medical research/business/politics/beauty contestant question answers. Trust me, if there was a magic pill, it would have a label, a stock symbol and a very happy CEO behind it.

Oh No: seemed to be in remission since my whipple surgery nearly 2 years ago. but now my ca test was elevated and they had me retake it. my dr would have me take another scan, but Im strictly against it and I don't see the point. I discontinued chemo after 2 treatments as I couldnt tolerate it, had no radation as Im against that too.
