      Hi there,

Just wanted to let you know that I saw your message. We are still growing our pediatric cancer group, and I am sure someone will be able to weigh in soon with some perspectives that can help. In the meantime, I am reaching out on Twitter and Facebook to see if I can help find others to give you some insight. Please know my thoughts and prayers are with your family.

Yes, my son (23) was just diagnosed two weeks ago. Will start inpatient chemo next week for six days. Then three weeks out of the hospital and back in for another week each month for several months.

Hi, our son recently was diagnosed with Lymphoblastic Lymphoma (almost 3 yr old). If you are able, do you mind sharing more of your situation/experience? Looking for any insight of what to expect.

    OurBraveBoy shared an experience

Oh No (Diagnosed): Our world stopped turning a bit recently. Our son, who will be 3 next month, was diagnosed just yesterday with Lymphoblastic Lymphoma. Approximately 1 month ago, we noticed several enlarged lymph nodes so made our first doctors appointment. It became clear after two rounds of blood tests producing elevated lymphocytes, antibiotics, and still present enlarged nodes, that we needed to do a biopsy. Biopsy was done on Thursday and we were told on Friday the life altering results.
He will go to Children's Hospital Monday to have a CT scan and chest x-ray. We will also have to have a spinal tap and bone marrow biopsy done next week. It is still undetermined, and will be verified next week, if this is only Lymphoblastic Lymphoma or if it is Lymphoblastic Luekemia.
Other than the enlarged lymph nodes, you would not know anything was wrong with our boy. He is a happy, energetic little boy. We would give anything to not have him go through the upcoming pain he will endure. We know we are in good hands but it is a helpless feeling knowing you can't do anything to help the situation.
