Procedure or Surgery (Surgery): The surgical team worked on me for nine hours, removed my bladder, prostate, lymph nodes. Ran lines from my kidneys to an ostomy. With a larger pouch I have been thinking about being a long haul truck driver, I would only have to stop for fuel.

Decision Point (Other): We planned our work, then work your plan everything went according to schedule and now I can say (I am a survivor and cancer free)!! And still have a good attitude and sense of humor!!

Drug or Chemo Therapy (Chemotherapy): I have heard so many horror stories about chemotherapy, but I think what will be will be and it's only going to last about three months. I had absolutely no side effects, everything they told me that could happen everything was quite the opposite, loss of energy my energy level increased, loss of appetite, my wife had to hide the food. Here again it was my sense of humor and attitude that carried me through!!

I noticed blood in my urine, a trip to my family doctor, then to my urologist he informed me that it was indeed cancer, sent me to a urologist surgeon who informed me that the only cure was to remove the bladder at this point the decision was made three months of chemotherapy and surgery to remove my platter, prostate, lymph nodes, in my schedules were set in motion. My job from then on was attitude, my sense of humor carried me through to survival.
