Side Effects (Hair loss (alopecia)): Hair loss and dark nails have been my side effects and I consider this a small price to pay to get a chance at enjoying my family and my life!

Drug or Chemo Therapy (Chemotherapy): I was actually ready to start chemo because I was looking at it as "getting the journey" started so I can move forward. I began chemo on July 24, 2012. I was prepared for all the typical side effects, change in how I'd be different with my family, etc., but God really blessed me!!!!!! I've been able to endue the chemo treatments and not be sick, no nausea, no extreme fatigue, etc. God is so awesome and I thank Him daily!

Oh No (Diagnosed): In my heart, I felt something was not right with my breast. Because of health insurance issues, I kept putting getting checked out off. Anyway, praise be to God, when I finally did go and I was treated as if I had the BEST healthcare in the world, I felt so releived. Hearing the diagnosis...sill made for an "oh no" moment even though God had already been preparing me.
