Good news. I had Hodgkins in 1989 had surgery, radiation, chemo, all of this over about a year. Then it returned about 6 months out. This time I had chemo only, for about 6 months. Then I was clean for 18 years. Had a third dx for a different type of cancer 7 years ago, but I am currently clean of that too! Best to you.

Side Effects (Weight loss): Had chemo every 2 weeks for 6 months. Since my resistance was down, I was very careful to keep my suroundings as germ free as I could including my food. Didn't even have a cold throughout the treatment. I was very tired for about a week after chemo (probably because I was inactive - should have gotten more exercise). I did have very sensitive skin and itched a lot - was given meds to make that better.

Drug or Chemo Therapy (Chemotherapy): I was extremely lucky - no surgery other than a biopsy, no sickness, no radiation, 6 months of chemo and 3.5 years of scans, now just blood tests and so far I am cancer free.
