Celebration (Finished treatment): Of course finishing up all the procedures was cause for celebration but I now know that every day is a celebration and in a few weeks I will become a Grandmother for the first time. There were a lot of times that I was afraid that I would not live to see this blessing in my life but here I am and loving every minute of it!!

Drug or Chemo Therapy (Targeted therapy): Not sure what Herceptin is actually considered but I was not able to take the full course of it due to congestive heart failure resulting from the drug. Stopping this treatment was one of the hardest things I had to do because it felt like I was no longer fighting. It took me months to realize, emotionally, that it was in my best interest but had some rough times in those months.

Radiation (External radiation ): This was my last procedure and by this point the fatigue was unreal but all in all it went smoothly.

Oh No (Diagnosed): Had all the usual concerns and issues. Was still recovering from a ruptured brain aneurysm five months earlier and the idea of having to fight for my life all over was mind boggling.
