This is a question directly for you... Were you getting your paps done yearly? I am asking because I have HPV- cancer causing strand that means I have an abnormal excessive amount of cancerous cells. I have already had cancer twice since i was diagnosed in August 2008. It scares me that if I still go every year like they said I will still have to undergo a Hysterectomy. I refused having a hysterectomy 2 years ago. The doctor suggested I have one because my fallopian tubes, entire uterus, cervix, and vaginal canal were covered in cyst that would painfully burst due to the cancerous cells. I am only 22 and I want to be able to bare another child before they take my women hood.

Drug or Chemo Therapy (I cant remember the name of the drug but it came in a series of shots over a 8 month period. It was something to help calm down my cyst if not get rid of them. I was in a lot of pain at that time so I dont remember everything during that time period.): Every time they gave me those shots I was sick for a couple days afterwards. I hated getting these shots not only did they make me sick it hurt because they put it in my hip bone. but the cyst went away. I almost forgot I had change my birth control method because I had a IUD that allowed for the cyst to travel on the outside of my cervix which caused alot more pain.

Oh No (Diagnosed): A year after I was cleared. I was rediagnosed with cervical cancer due to HPV- Cancer causing strand. That was when I realized I will be fighting cancer for the rest of my life. Just because they got rid of the cancer didnt mean they could get rid of the cancerous cells. A couple of months later my cervix was covered inside and out with cyst that would painfully burst when I moved. I didnt want to go to the doctors I just wanted to lay in bed and give up. Why would I want to live with this for the rest of my life. One minute I am in the clear then the next minute I am fighting cancer again. I would never wish this on my worst enemy. God is playing mind tricks on me. but my boyfriend wouldnt leave my side till I got it through my head that this life was worth fighting for.
