Celebration (Finished treatment): I finished treatment about one month ago (March 15). On April 9 I went to the ENT to a routine check and found no present tumor or neck nodes. Right now I'm back to work. In 3 months I'll go with a PET CT Scan to check if the treatment has worked successfully. In the name of God, it will!!

Radiation (External radiation ): Because I was diagnosed with nasopharynx cancer, I had to take 33 radiation doses in 6 1/2 weeks. It literally destroyed my tongue, impossibiliting me to swallow. I lost 22 pounds in the process.

Drug or Chemo Therapy (Chemotherapy): I went to six chemos, one weekly. On the first one, another node I had did dissappear. The nurse asked how did I feel after the first chemo and when I told her I had a little pain in my neck, she told me: "It's the medication that is working, we are on the right path".

Oh No (Diagnosed): Two weeks after the surgery, the pathology results diagnosed a Squamous cell metastatic carcinoma. I took it easily, asked the surgeon what do I had to do and that same day visited the oncologist.
