Decision Point (Save the urethra or have ileostomy.): Tumor surrounding urethra - since there's no guarantee for any method of dealing with the tumor - opted to save the urethra and have 6 surgical procedures to "seed" the tumor with radiation

I had brachytherapy and the oncology-radiology doc says there should be no side-effects. But I feel weak and "down" and ended up in ER with a racing heart and A-Fib. My radiation ended about 2.5 weeks ago.

Side Effects (Fatigue (tiredness)): Ended up in hospital with A-Fib although my heart was normal.

Radiation (Internal radiation): New radiation - 6 surgical procedures - all under general anesthesia - needles inserted around tumor - off to radiation - back to OR to remove needles. twice a week for 3 weeks. 1st one June 2.

Oh No (Cancer is back/Recurred ): Shocked - and also wondering "Will this keep happening every year and a half?" So disillusioned.
