      Arimidex
Very uncomfortable hands and feet...The best way I can describe it is that I was constantly 'aware' of them. Couldn't relax even watching TV let alone get to sleep. Also...the vaginal dryness was debilitating. I'm not talking about sex...just everyday life....like sitting and walking. So dry I hurt. Most lubricants were so messy and have estrogen base so I could not use. My Oncologist recommended "Astroglide" which helped a lot. After about 2 years on Arimidex...I cut the pills in half and have been taking just 1/2 every morning for the last year. Doctor does not approve of this...but I'm telling you the side effects are so much better!! I figured 1/2 is better than none and so far tests are still clean. Sometimes we just have to find the way that works for us. My hair is thinner than used to be...but not that others would notice and not sure if from the Arimidex or just getting older as my salt & pepper color is now mostly "salt" ...lol. I'm 67 years old, 140 pounds...and otherwise healthy. I do not tolerate meds very well...allergic to aspirin and sulfa drugs, and things like "Contac" too strong for me. Has anyone else out there tried lower dose?
