Minutes before I attempted a 30K Ruck in Castle Rock, Colorado, 18.6 miles and required to carry 25lbs of food on my back for Homeless Veterans. Every freaking day is a gift! 12 Year Stage IV Oral Cancer Survivor

This is me, living! I'm an 11 year SurThriver of Stage IV Tonsil cancer. I started running 6 years ago. It's my way of saying, "Take That You Stinkin' Cancer!" I'm slow as a turtle, but I don't care. It's all about crossing that finish line! I've also this year started Vlogging on Youtube trying to do one new thing every day for this year. It's called My Freakin' 365 + 1 List! (It's a Leap Year). Some of the stuff is just stupid and silly, but me and my 13 year old are having fun together doing this. Check me out on Youtube or Wordpress.

Light a candle this Christmas Eve, before you lay to rest, in remembrance of the family who have shared our Christmas past. In the flicker of the fire's flame, embrace the memory of the children, the mommies and the daddies, the sisters and the brothers, the grandma's and the grandpa's and the aunties and the uncles and Christmas come and gone. Let the whispers of the fire's dance keep them ever in its light, till once again we share our Christmas in Heaven's Candlelight. Copyright: Jerri Lynn Baker

I hope each and every one of us has a blessed Christmas and we can all remember the good memories of our loved ones lost. Merry Christmas.
