Oh No (Diagnosed): My husband has a rare combination of classic and predominant lymphocytic Hodgkin's lymphoma, and from discovery of mass to staging has taken about 5 weeks. I'm anxious for treatment to start, but I understand that diagnosis is crucial in arriving at the correct chemo regimen. Though we are in our late 50's and early 60's, we are newly married as we conducted a long-distance relationship (between the US and England) for over 7 years, since his mother had Alzheimers and he couldn't leave her earlier. And now this! Doing our best to remain positive.

Oh No (Diagnosed): My husband appears to have a rare combination of classic Hodgkins and lymphocyte predominant, and getting the diagnosis right has taken over a month so far, so I'm anxious for him to start treatment. I'm inpatient about the length of time taken to order all the tests, and it seems, for instance, the port could have been ordered at the same time the PET/CT scan for staging was....anyway, it's all scary and life-changing, as I've seen him grow increasingly fatigued over the past couple of weeks.
