Yes! I was diagnosed May 30th, 2017 with Stage 3 NSCLC .
One large tumor in lower left lung, enlarged lymphnodes surrounding my trachea causing wheezing and a collapsed lung. After 30 radiation treatments and concurrent chemotherapy my tumor and nodes have shrunk significantly and my lung has reinflated. I feel great!

Correction on above..The first collapsed lobe on my lung was found mid December ( not October) and there was a 2 week period of getting 2nd opinions etc. Then early Jan I was to begin radiation and the 2nd lobe had collapsed. Both opened up during radiation, and I felt 100% better

Doing treatments gives you hope that it works. You have to have faith that these treatments do help & give you some quality of life. You would never know how these treatments can help unless you have them. I 'm on Keytruda this time & my tumor has shrunk 15% in almost a year. Dude affects are lesson
