Hugs. Nodes in lungs can be benign and the older you are the more likely for you to develop them. I'm praying they're benign.

I had the same diagnosis in January. I was told the spots are so tiny they couldn't tell if they were cancer or not. I am starting Gemzar today to treat these and go for my next scan at the end of March. Praying that they are not cancer and will be able to have the Whipple surgery. Wishing you all the best.

Hi Kathy. My dad has a stage 4 pancreatic cancer also. He went with the first line of chemotherapy, Gemzar, then stopped when it stopped working. At this point, he went with Hospice. My heart goes out to you and your husband, and I wish you the best. If you need any information about the treatments, check my experiences or if I can point you to something I've read, ask. pancan.org is a helpful website, the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network, if you have any questions someone can't answer or need to find an experienced doctor for another opinion. They have one-on-one support available.
