How do you feel about high dose radiation treatments?

I have had radiation treatments twice, 24 years ago I had 28 treatments, and 4 years ago I had 25. It wasn't hard on me the first time, but the last time it really knocked me down a notch or two. All in all, I didn't mind them, quick, painless, better than chemo. But some need both, or one or the other.

Best of luck to you if you have them!

As opposed to what? Just about any treatment for anything is a risk trade off. I've had radiation treatments twice, about 20 years apart, and I had minimal short term side effects both times and no long term effects so far. Except for the inconvenience of going to the treatment center, it was the easiest and most painless part of my treatment.

Procedure or Surgery (Lobectomy): Mom had her lower right lobe removed in August of 2011, she did pretty well with the surgery. As mom has put it it was well worth the time and effort.
