Vicky, and you were with me. I'm okay. The surgical dermatologist I saw couldn't find the lump. I found it but he said he thought it was normal muscle tissue, even though my regular dermatologist had felt it and recommended I see him. So, I left his office with his telling me to come back if what I felt got bigger.
I, too, am always apprehensive. I know just what you mean, and feeling that way isn't fun at all. As for your results, generally, bad news travels fast, doesn't it? I was with MSKCC for almost fifteen years, as a patient and then in their breast cancer survivorship program, and I usually had to wait for good news, though not always. Now I go to Memorial only to get annual mammos and breast ultrasounds.
I'll be with you in spirit on Wednesday when you sit in that exam room, Vicky. Hugs, love, and power.
