Decision Point: I was in shock when I got the initial diag and they were sending me to a surgeon - I was not able to comprehend what was going on - My husb had just had prostrate cancer implants and now me??? Luckily my daughter in law is an RN and she helped with decision making and getting me where I needed to go. She has been an awesome support. She went with us to see the surgeon and then helped us decide to do the lumpectomy and lymph test. She asked questions that I didn't think to ask. I got so much support from friends and church and our parish nurse.

I was diagnosed on Dec 26, 2012. As of now I have not had anything done. All I know is it is IDC stage 2 grade 6. I have had chest xrays and am scheduled for a Bone Scan tomorrow. I am having some difficulty breathing as well as pain in my breast and kidney area is all this normal? I chose you because you are in my area, Sacramento. Any input you can give me will be greatly appreciated. Do these doctors here really take this long to get anything done?
