I'm not even familiar with that condition, but I hope you get to doing better!

Definitely heard of necrosis, but not heard it called pseudo progression. Necrosis is common as it's scar tissue. Anytime you have surgery or radiation to any area, you'll have scar tissue. Necrosis of the brain has been treated with Avastin or Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy (HBOT).

Oh No (Had a seizure in my sleep beginning of October): CT scan and MRI show a change, not certain if it is a recurrence or scar tissue that caused a seizure.

Milestones: 4 years in remission! My surgery was July 2013. It is now October 2017 and cancer still free.

Check with your oncologist as to whether the frequency of your MRI scans will change. Congratulations!

Don't worry about it coming back. Please go out and enjoy your life! :-)

My husband was diagnosed with a grade 3 oligoastrocytoma 4/28/11 and had it completely removed on 5/10/11. He started radiation and temodor in June, and radiation continued thru July. He continued Temodor thru January, 2012. Thank God, he has not had any reoccurrence. He gets MRIs every 4 months now and will probably continue with that schedule forever. I was also scared about ending the Temodor, but so far, so good! Keep the faith and try to lift your burdens to God.
