I had a lot of swallowing problem because of reflux and I had to have my esophagus stretched. I am thinking he has already had a scope down his throat to see what was going on. They did the same procedure as that when they stretched my esophagus. and in my case, I didn't even have a sore throat, which they said I might.

Symptom Management: My husband finished treatment about 1 1/2 years ago and had several clean scans. Then he had a pet scan with one small active area in the same place where a tumor was. His Dr was 90% sure it was cancer and ordered a biopsy. The biopsy showed no cancer. He has a lot of inflammation in his lung probably caused by radiation and chemo. He has a swallow test next week.
