Oh No (Diagnosed): My 46 year old friend is diagnosed with Stage 3 Colon Cancer. :(
She went in for a hysterectomy because of two LARGE ovarian cysts. Doctors didn't mention or raised concerns about cancer, initially. She decided to seek a second opinion and prepared herself with information that this could be more than just a hysterectomy. Sure enough, reports came back positive.

A dear friend of mine recently had a hysterectomy because two abnormally large cysts were found in her ovaries. Suspecting that they were not only cysts, the doctors also took out 6 inches of her colon. Post surgery - reports came back positive for Stage 3 Colon Cancer. She's currently recovering from the surgery and is going through all the different scans to make sure that the cancer has not spread else where. She's 46 and is very active (marathons, triathlons and other sports). Praying that it has not spread elsewhere!
