Radiation (Internal radiation): My first internal radiation was horrible. I didn't have enough pain medicine in my system when they took the devices out. It was the worst pain I have ever been in. They put me under the second time and it went a LOT better.

My system was so screwed up I had to take pills to make me go, then take others to make me not go. I was either constipated or diariaha. Just tell the dr. they will give you what ever you need, it is a common problem. Good luck to you!!

Well, I am done with chemo and external radiation for now. Onto internal radiation! I am really nervous about it... My doctor told me about the process and it all seems kinda scary. But I gotta be strong and do it anyway. Anything to help get rid of my cancer :)

I hate the reaction the word cancer brings about in people. Chemo as well. I do like being the person to prove what they believe about cancer wrong though.

On a different note, I never thought I would end up with any kind of cancer, let alone at twenty years old. Just really thinking about it still kinda scares me. I know I'll get through it though. I just can't wait till I'm cancer free and can tell people that I beat it. Let people know that cancer isn't as scary as some people make it out to be.

If it's being caused by your treatments or your cancer, tell your dr. about it, they have lot's of things to give you for nausea, upset stomach, etc. Good luck in your treatments.
