Hi Marnie, thanks for the post. I had 3 positive nodes at surgery so after I finish radiation, I decided to go for a clinical trial that used Cisplatin and a PARP inhibitor. It was 9 months additional treatment and took me to May 1, 2012. So far so good. I have a check up next month.

Hi nikkev11, In September, I will have 3 years behind me. I had AC&T in the first round of chemo and Cisplatin in the second round. I was in a clinical trial with a PARP inhibitor. So far so good. I have been out of any treatment for a little over a year. Hope you can get a clear report soon.

Thank you for your response. I had ACT the first round, Havalen the second round and then was changed to Gemzar. The Gemzar appears to be working because I have not had any lesions in a month. I will keep you informed. God Bless you and I will pray for your continue success.

Hi, just wanted to see about your trial. I just finished 11 months of chemo, surgery and radiation. My oncologist told me the parp inhibitor was 5 years away.
I finished radiation 3 days ago and already catch myself wondering what is next.
Where are you being treated and who is your doc?
