Decision Point: In Feb.2012 I was told that the cancer had spread to my bones. I have a lot of pain in my hip and received 10 treatments of radiation but it didnt help. Now I'm scheduled to get strong chemo once every three weeks. Should I do it? Will it relieve the pain or just make me feel sicker?

Drug or Chemo Therapy (Chemotherapy and radiation combined): Side effects not terrible but skin was burned and voice lost after 33 radiation treatments. Chemo wasnt too bad. I went once a week
In retrospect, we never should have waited a year after surgery to recheck and we should have had chemo right after surgery as a precausion.
When I did go back May 2011 the cancer had spread to the lymph nodes and I was in stage IIIBalmost 9 years ago -

Procedure or Surgery (Segmentectomy or wedge resection): we were told by the surgeon that he got it all and no chemo would be needed and to see him in three weeks for follow up on surgery. At that point we were told to come back in one year. Surgery was in May of 2010
