No reocurrence!!! I was diagnosed in July 2018. Chemo and radiation began in September. Treatments completed the end of October. Pet scan in January 2019 showed no cancer.

I know; however, I dread the Pet scans and tumor marker tests. Guess I need to be more positive! I have blood work and the tumor marker test done on July 5. I was also told I had to have another colonoscopy this summer.Do you have anal cancer? When I was told my treatment had a 90-95% total cure rate, I had no choice but to endure chemo and radiation. I wish you the very best on your Pet Scan!!! We need to compare notes on the side effects!

Welcome, fellow Wisconsinite! I'm not sure if you have completed your treatment yet, but I can promise it will get better. Hang in there.

What kinds of things are you doing to relieve your discomfort?
