I have been dealing --- living - mostly unsuccessfully with CIPN for several years now. For almost two years took the alpha lopoic acid along with several of the B vitamins and folic acid and found for me they provided no relief. I also tried several months of acupuncture -- again for me nothing. All the while I am on Gabapentin at night (now taking 900mg) when going prone in bed it seems to become most acute and most often need to get up and go downstairs and watch TV for about 30 minutes before it settles back down enough for me to go back to sleep. Even take .5mg of Ambien. I met with my medical oncology nurse this week and she suggested I try wearing compression stockings when I go to sleep. I have tried it now for two nights and it "may" be showing some benefit. We'll see. Anyone else with any ideas please share. Keep the faith

I find a heating pad brings instant relief. I also take gabapentin and find it controls nerve pain.
