no i didnt have to do herceptin. my sister is in wa state an she is doing herceptin. i can tell u that it was a long road, an i am coming to the end. finally

Cindi, it is so encouraging to see that you are almost 5 years out of treatment and I trust you are doing well. I am just completing treatments - all completed except for the Herceptin which lasts until Nov. I can so identify with your comments below. I, along with a small group I meet with (we are all in the first year of treatment, etc) are now trying to deternine what is the 'new normal". Maybe we are trying to figure that out too early. Did you take Herceptin after the chemo? Were you apprehensive when you completed it and there is no 5 year pill?

Celebration (Other): Chemo completed, surgery completed, radiation completed. Only have to complete Herceptin. Hair coming back.
