Hi, and welcome to WhatNext.com. I'm in the ovarian cancer club too -- and diagnosed at Stage IV like you -- currently fighting a recurrence. My adventures are detailed on my page and you can read all about it if you wish. Or ask a question; I'm happy to answer anything you want to know.

Bottom line: this is a great place to connect with others who understand what you've been through and how you feel.

Hi sheagirl29, welcome to the site. I came here in 2013 after being diagnosed with stage IIIC ovarian cancer at age 66. I needed to connect with other survivors taking the same journey. I underwent chemo, debulking surgery, and four more rounds of chemo after the surgery, both IV and IP. None of it was easy, but it was DOABLE. For me, the worst side effect was the fatigue, I hope you are being kind to yourself and resting as needed. Please search the WhatNext community for others with the diagnosis of ovarian cancer,we have ladies in their thirties, forties , fifties and even sixties and seventies . Some are still battling this disease while others have been in remission for years. Currently I have been in remission a little over two years. Reach out with any questions, and get to know the WhatNext community. We are all here to help each other.
