shellbell - i'm sorry you have so much swelling! and that we share this diagnosis. i don't know anything about your particular cancer... but one thing to consider is getting a second opinion. things that influence the decision for or against chemo include hormone receptor status, tumor size, lymph node biopsies (if applicable), family history, and so on.... good luck! i hope that you are able to find good answers.

i had both breast removed in june of this year and i had 1 cycle of chemo before they were removed and it didn't shrink the tumor in my right breast, so i had them both removed. Now keep in mind i have no cancer anywhere else. i'm getting ready to start therapy because the swelling on my sides will not go down. my oncologist wants me to do more chemo soon but i'm not that crazy to do that again beings it did nothing for me in the first place. I s this normal?
