Welcome Sher. I agree w/Pauline; you'll find a lot of good information on this site. I also have Stage IV MBC. Right now I'm on IBrance (2nd month) & the Faslodex injection once a month. I'm doing great. I don't like the pain, but ignore it during the day when I can. I find things I like to do which helps. I have different drugs for night depending on how I feel @ 6pm. Yes, cancer is very unpredictable. Our objective is to keep it controlled, which we have. I've been on 6 different chemo regimes in 3 years. Every 3 months, I do a CT scan to see where it's at. Right now, my nodule has in enlarged some, but we think the IBrance is shrinking it. We'll see in June. Good luck to you.

I have the severe muscle spasms right where I had my shingles about 5 years ago. They started before the Faslodex injections, but have gotten worse. I have Lidocaine patches for when they are really bad. Those muscles also don't like exercise. I'm also 73 with fibro so nearly everything bothers me. I put salonpas on each day sometimes twice. I found that the injections cause me severe bone pain. I'm in bed for 2 days afterward.
