I know this is an older post but I am new to what next and just reading up on the different post. I TOO am having leg and hip problems. I just started physical therapy to try and help the situation. I have heard from another Anal cancer survivor that she also had hip and leg pain but when I ask the doctors they say there is no association between what we all went thru and hip pain. Weird, I think. I am wondering if the radiation did something. I was always a runner and very athletic but it's difficult now.

I, too, am new to the site but wanted to put an idea out there... When I was diagnosed with anal cancer stage 3 I had to have lymph nodes removed from my groin. At that time my dr. warned me that I may have problems with swelling and pain in that area afterward. Lucky for me, that didn't happen but if you had similar surgery perhaps that may be the cause of your pain? Just an idea... Best of luck to both of you!
