I wish you the best also. I will be seeing an oncologist on Thursday to see what his recommendation is and what type of therapy I will need after. I am pretty sure that once I talk to the doctor on Thursday, I will make my decision. I am already tired of flipping back and forth with my decision and it's only been a week. I have been given some suggestions about some books to read and will be checking those out also.

You and I were diagnosed on the same day. I wrestle with the same issue as you do, right now. I have elected to get a PET scan to get an inside look at this mess... I will follow your journey and wish you the best...

Hi again, Sissy, just going through the posts and seen this one. Yes it's traumatizing, but, you learn to get through it. It's not the end of the world, and usually not as bad as what you imagine. But still, it sucks. I have been through it 3 times. Last time 4 years ago. Each time I accumulate a new group of scars and war stories, but I'm still here agravating my wife, so you will get through it. Lots of help here.

I hope you are well. I've just now been diagnosed, last week, and thought the exact same thing you did, 'how does someone tell you that you have cancer, over the phone?' So far, my preferred method of treatment has been denial. It is working well.
I'm afraid of that moment, the one you had in the shower, when you were 'ugly crying'. I'm so so sorry.
I'm so so scared.
My Darling goes to college in Melbourne, you are blessed to live near such a beautiful place, thank you for sharing...
