Bummer on them not taking your insurance... Insurance is such an awful pain in the nether regions.

I haven't been well lately. The doctor seems to be encouraging me to give up on living. I guess I have to pronounce myself terminal. I might not receive treatment on Friday. This is getting depressing, or I can get happy about seeing Jesus. There will be no more pain and sorrow.

I've been in hospital. I had 4.1 liters of fluid on me. I have been feeling not well. I don't what to tell anyone on here. I think my doctor might have given up on me. A couple of ladies from palative care came to see me. I'm so worn out I don't what to think anymore. I don't know if I should tell you goodbye and see you on the other side.

Skimpy10, I hope the worn out feeling is better now. I can certainly relate to it, as well as not knowing what to say to people. Overlyaverage has a great idea. Like you, I don't have any children but there are people I love dearly. It would be a good exercise for me. You and BoiseB have inspired me in many ways. I know we've never met and are thousands of miles apart, but you're a vital force for good on this difficult journey with EC. Sending good thoughts your way. Purrs and Headbutts from Sammy and Kayla, too.

Thanks Sallas and Overlyadverage for your support. You've been a great help to me as well as inspiring. I have six headbutts and purrs from Skimpy, Josie, Willie, Teddy, Asia, and Fluffy. I know crazy cat lady :). I use to have a female cat name Sammie, and I miss her greatly. God bless you with better days and good health.

I just have two cats, Skimpy 10 and they sleep on my bed. How about yours? Cats are such good companions for naps, do you agree? Actually one of my cats is named "Overly Average". He was named that in honor of my daughter's friend who died in a totally avoidable accident when she wasn't paying attention. He is truly overly average too. You sound more upbeat. Are you feeling better-more strength and less tired? I hope so.

Our local hospice called back, and I was told it was too soon for me to be part of their help. The lady told me to keep fighting as long as possible until I have run out of all options. She was grieved to hear that I might need their service at my age. She'll send information about it for me to decide.
In the mean time, I'm feeling a little better since the chemo on Thursday. I wouldn't say I'm ready for a 5K. I won't give up until the Head Boss says otherwise.3 Comments-

Love the news it is too early to consider hospice and love that you are feeling better since chemo and love that your fighting spirit is well with you.

Hi Bosie I have bad news to tell you. Doctor says I'm almost terminal. One more try on chemo, and if it doesn't work, that's it for me except for God's final say so. I would like to see pictures of the garden.

Doctor told me today that I am almost terminal. He is going to try one more chemo, and if this doesn't work, I must face end of life. I left a message with hospice, so I figured they will call me soon.
